July 21, 2010 the mobile operator life:) has announced an interesting creative photography contest "Smiles of Belarusians. Known and different:) ".
A lot of young talented and promising amateur photographers, professional photographers and students of art schools, colleges and universities participated in the contest. Photos sent from all over Belarus, reflecting the emotions and mood, the moments of happiness and laughter, catching the occasional smile and the joy of a long-awaited meeting.
On August 1 the jury had a not easy task - to choose 50 works of finalists for the exhibition. Sampling took place over several days. The main criterion for selection wasn't only the technical side of performance, but also emotional. Photography was designed to transmit warm and brightness of the moment, the joy and sincerity of feelings. That is what guided the jury determining the finalists.
The exhibition opening was held at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus on August 16. The event was attended by the authors of the 50 best photos, the jury members, project partners, as well as journalists of the leading Belarusian mass media.
To see the smiles that make smile in response, to get positive emotions, and feel the brightness of the moments of the photograph you can at the National Art Museum. The exhibition will be open until 12 September 2010.
The uniqueness of this project and the cultural event was highly appreciated by the leadership of the city of Minsk and the Ministry of Culture. The closing of the photo exhibition and rewarding the winners and finalists of the contest was timed to events on the Day of the Minsk city on September 11-12 and entered into the program of festive and cultural events.
