Main » Services » InternetThe “Internet” service can provide life:) subscribers with mobile Internet access using a handset, possibility to send / receive e-mails, surf over web-sites, use ICQ and etc.
The service is based on the GPRS technology1 (packet data transmission technology for GSM mobile network), which enables data transfer rate of more than 115 Kbit/s. In practice, however, the rate can be lower due to several reasons such as: the distance from the base station, residential buildings, type of handset and etc. Typically, the data transfer rate is about 50 Kbit/s2.
